MEADOWCROFT WINES AND PARK 121 CAFÉ PARTNER FOR WINE DINNER

SONOMA, CA.—Meadowcroft Wines and Park 121 Café, both located at Cornerstone Sonoma, are teaming up for a special wine dinner on Thursday, April 25 at 6:30 p.m.  Tickets are $90 per person ($75 per person for Wine Club members) and available by calling the Meadowcroft Wines tasting room at 707/934-4090.

Winemaker Tom Meadowcroft and Park 121 Café’s Executive Chef Bruce Riezenman will be on hand discussing the wines and the menu.  The evening will commence with a wine reception in the Olive Grove featuring hors D’oeuvres of Vietnamese vegetable Spring Rolls and miniature Pizzettas from the Park 121 Café pizza oven.

HITCH YOUR WAGON TO THE MEADOWCROFT MARDI GRAS PARADE

SONOMA, CA.—It may not be as big as New Orleans, but the 3^rd annual Meadowcroft Wines’ Mardi Gras celebration is expanding its Second Line Parade to include “floats” from throughout the area.   Schools, shops, groups, organizations, non-profits are invited to enter their mini Mardi Gras floats and join the parade on Saturday, February 9^th to kick off the celebration.  The parade will be led by Petaluma’s Rhythmtown Jive band who will also entertain for the entire Mardi Gras event.

PETAR KIRILOV WINEMAKER AT MEADOWCROFT WINES

SONOMA, CA.—Tom Meadowcroft, winegrower and founder of Meadowcroft Wines announces longtime co-worker and winemaker Petar Kirilov winemaker Petar Kirilov to the position of Winemaker for the Meadowcroft, Thomas Henry and Foyt Family labels.  Kirilov joined Meadowcroft Wines in 2008 as a winemaker to oversee the production of small lot wines.  During the past four years, the winery has increased its annual production from 3,500 cases to 25,000 cases.

A DIVERSE LINEUP AT MEADOWCROFT’S SONGWRITERS IN SONOMA SET FOR MARCH 15

SONOMA, CA.—The Meadowcroft Wines’ Songwriters in Sonoma music series continues in March with songs and music from Dustin Heald, Rich Little and Fred McCarty, three very diverse singer-songwriters.  The show, set for Thursday, March 15 at 7:00 p.m. in the Meadowcroft Wines tasting room at 23574 Arnold Drive/Hwy 121 in the CornerStone Sonoma community is produced by Meadowcroft Wines (www.meadowcroftwines.com) and sponsored by the Sonoma-based website MusicNomad.com (www.musicnomad.com).  The monthly music show is booked and hosted by Gerard Serafini, owner of Sonoma Valley Music store (www.sonomavalleymusic.com) who also provides the sound and lighting for the shows.  Tickets are $10 per person and available by calling the tasting room at 707/934-4090.

In addition to the music and a full menu of wine selections, cheese plates with Charcuterie are available for purchase as well as a selection from Chef Darby’s Hot Pot.  February’s Louisiana Jambalaya was a sell-out!
