Bold and full bodied, this wine is structured firmly around a solid core of rich fruit, licorice and herbs. Supple, ripe tannins provide ample backbone. The mouth-feel is plush and unctuous while retaining stability and finesse. The finish is extended, with lingering flavors of caramel, sweet oak and chocolate. Decant to open up the complexity; best now through 2030.
