2020 Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley
Sonoma County
TASTING NOTE: Our 2020 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir leads with aromas of lavender, candied cherries, and notes of fresh blueberries. This vintage is aged in 25% French oak, which imparts a subtle vanilla toast to this juicy pinot noir. The palate is round and full, with a balanced acidity that contributes to the excellent structure and aging potential of the wine.
FOOD PAIRING: Pinot Noir is a fantastic wine to pair creatively. Always a great match with mushrooms, this robust pinot noir would be a delicious choice to pair with chanterelle risotto or wild mushroom polenta. Also, Full- flavored meats like lamb or duck prepared with a compote or gremolata are dishes we recommend serving alongside this wine.
